MyWord*i5©, is a new and exciting software package integrating Microsoft Word for use in IBM's System i (iSeries, i5 and AS/400) RPG and COBOL programs. It may also be used as a standalone word processor directly on System i. MyWord*i5© allows seamless, transparent use of Microsoft Word in the System i. All Word features are at the fingertips of the System i user. Word text AND images created by the System i user are stored within the IFS and/or Server 2003 (or higher) and are available for display on all network P.C.'s including 5250 emulated workstations. MyWord*i5© has the option to display Microsoft Word text on dumb 5250 terminals by using the optional attribute converter. IBM 5250 attributes are substituted for Word attributes allowing virtually all underlined, subscript, superscript, etc. to be displayed on the 5250 device.
